A monk\n\u4e5f\u90fd\u662f\u4fee\u884c\u4eba.  \u8fd8\u6709\u7684\u6cd5\u5e08\u5462 \n\nSaid he wept when he touched cassock\n\u8bf4\u4ed6\u629a\u6478\u4e86\u8888\u88df\u4e5f\u4f1a\u6d41\u6cea\n\nMaster Huang Nianzu  once said\n\u9ec4\u5ff5\u7956\u8001\u5c45\u58eb\u66fe\u7ecf\u8bf4\u8fc7 \n\nWhen he's writing the Commentary on the Infinite Life Sutra.\n\u4ed6\u5728\u5199\u300a\u65e0\u91cf\u58fd\u7d93\u6ce8\u89e3\u300b\n\nNot only he cried out loud sometimes\n\u7684\u65f6\u5019, \u4e0d\u4f46\u4f1a\u75db\u54ed\u6d41\u6d95\n\nBut also his hair stood up on end many times\n\u5bd2\u6bdb\u76f4\u7aea\u7684\u60c5\u5f62 \u90fd\u5f88\u591a\u6b21\u53d1\u751f\u4e86 \n\nThis shows that in the previous life he was a great practitioner.\n\u8fd9\u5c31\u662f\u524d\u4e16\u90fd\u662f\u5927\u4fee\u884c\u4eba \n\nAll these memories are triggered  by Alaya\n\u7d71\u7d71\u8fd9\u4e9b\u5c31\u662f\u89e6\u52a8\u4e86\u963f\u4f86\u8036\u8b58\u7684\u8bb0\u5fc6 \n\nMaybe it's the karma from a past life\n\u4e5f\u8bb8\u662f\u524d\u4e16\u7684\u820a\u7de3 \n\nMaybe it is the connections of the past lives\n\u4e5f\u8bb8\u662f\u7d2f\u4e16\u7684\u5875\u7de3 \n\nAwakened in this lifetime\n\u88ab\u6211\u4eec\u4eca\u751f\u5462\u5524\u9192\u4e86\n\nToday I'm going to tell you a very amazing story\n\u4eca\u5929\u5462 \u7ed9\u5927\u5bb6\u8bb2\u4e00\u4e2a\u975e\u5e38\u795e\u5947\u7684\u6545\u4e8b\n\nWaiting for the Buddha for thousands of years\n\u7b49\u4f5b\u7b49\u4e86\u5343\u5e74\n\nBut he missed it\n\u4f46\u6700\u7ec8\u4e5f\u6ca1\u6709\u7b49\u5230 \n\nReincarnated and become a patriarch\n\u8f6c\u4e16\u518d\u6765\u6210\u4e86\u4e00\u4f4d\u7956\u5e08\u5927\u5fb7 \n\nThis story is amazing and very interesting\n\u9019\u500b\u6545\u4e8b\u5f88\u795e\u5947 \u975e\u5e38\u7684\u6709\u610f\u601d \n\nI'm going to share with you today\n\u6211\u4eca\u5929\u5462\u5c31\u8bb2\u7ed9\u5927\u5bb6\u542c\n\nIt is recorded in the &lt;Mahamudra of the Ganges>\n\u5728\u300a\u6052\u6cb3\u5927\u624b\u5370\u300b\u4e2d\u6709\u8bb0\u8f7d \n\nMaster Xuanzang of the Tang Dynasty\n\u5510\u671d\u7684\u7384\u5958\u6cd5\u5e08\n\nOn the journey  to India for acquiring Buddhist canon\n\u5230\u5370\u5ea6\u53d6\u7ecf\n\nWhen he passing the Himalayas\n\u8d70\u5230\u559c\u9a6c\u62c9\u96c5\u5c71\u4e00\u5e26 \n\nHe saw the purple clouds in the deep mountain\n\u53d1\u73b0\u5c71\u4e0a\u6709\u7d2b\u4e91\u7ed3\u76d6 \n\nHe knew that there must be practitioner there \n\u77e5\u9053\u5c71\u91cc\u4e00\u5b9a\u662f\u6709\u4fee\u9053\u7684\u4eba\n\nSo they went looking for it\n\u4e8e\u662f\u5927\u5bb6\u5c31\u53bb\u5bfb\u627e \n\nSuddenly they found a cave\n\u7a81\u7136\u53d1\u73b0\u6709\u4e00\u4e2a\u6d1e \n\nThey went in and saw\n\u5c31\u8bd5\u7740\u8fdb\u53bb\u770b \u8fdb\u53bb\u4e00\u770b \n\nThere is an old monk in samaldhi\n\u6709\u4e00\u8001\u50e7\u5728\u5165\u5b9a\n\nCovered by overgrown weeds\n\u5934\u4e0a \u8eab\u4e0a\u90fd\u957f\u6ee1\u4e86\u91ce\u8349\n\nMaster Xuan Zang reached out his hand and touched him\n\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u5c31\u4f38\u624b\u6478\u4e86\u6478\n\nHis chest is still warm\n\u4ed6\u7684\u80f8\u53e3\u5c1a\u6709\u4f59\u6e29 \n\nHe used the Citing chimes to wake him up from the deep meditation\n\u4fbf\u7528\u5f15\u78ec\u4f7f\u4ed6\u51fa\u4e86\u5b9a \n\nThe old monk opened his eyes and asked blankly\n\u8001\u50e7\u7741\u5f00\u773c  \u832b\u832b\u7136\u7684\u95ee \n\nWho are you\n\u4f60\u662f\u8c01\u5440 \n\nMaster Xuanzang said I am Xuanzang, a monk\n\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u8bf4 \u5c0f\u50e7 \u7384\u5958 \n\nHow long have you been here?\n\u60a8\u8001\u5728\u6b64\u5165\u5b9a\u591a\u4e45\u4e86 \uff1f\n\nThe old monk squint his eyes and thought\n\u8001\u50e7\u772f\u7740\u773c\u775b\u60f3\u4e86\u60f3\n\nIt was during the reign of XYZ that he settled down here\n\u662f\u67d0\u67d0\u5e74\u95f4\u5728\u6b64\u7ed3\u5e90\u5165\u5b9a\n\nHe was waiting for the Buddha to save him\n\u662f\u7b49\u91cb\u4f3d\u4f5b\u6765\u5ea6\u4ed6\u7684 \n\nMaster Xuan Zang  calculated with his fingers\n\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u6390\u6307\u4e00\u7b97 \n\nFor more than a thousand years Sakhagava had gone\n\u5df2\u6709\u5343\u5e74\u6709\u4f59 \u4fbf\u5bf9\u4ed6\u8bf4 \u91cb\u4f3d\u4f5b\u5df2\u7ecf\u6d85\u69c3\u4e86\n\nThe old monk continued\n\u8001\u50e7\u63a5\u8457\u7b54 \n\nThen I would wait for Maitreya to come\n\u90a3\u5c31\u7b49\u5f25\u52d2\u83e9\u8428\u51fa\u4e16\n\nI'll go preach with him again, Xuanzang said to him\n\u6211\u518d\u8ddf\u4ed6\u53bb\u5f18\u6cd5\u5427 \u7384\u5958\u6cd5\u5e08\u60f3\u4e86\u60f3\u8bf4 \n\nMaitreya is 5.6 billion years away\n\u5f25\u52d2\u83e9\u8428\u51fa\u4e16\u8fd8\u9700\u8981\u4e94\u5341\u516d\u5104\u4e03\u5343\u842c\u5e74\u5462\n\nI'm afraid you missed your chance again\n\u6050\u4f60\u53c8\u9519\u8fc7\u4e86\u65f6\u673a\u5427 \n\nYou know what?\n\u8fd9\u6837\u5427 \n\nYou might as well go to reincarnate now\n\u4e0d\u5982\u4f60\u73b0\u5728\u8f6c\u4e16\u6295\u80ce\n\nWait till I get back from India\n\u7b49\u6211\u4ece\u5929\u7afa\u53d6\u7ecf\u56de\u6765 \n\nLet's preach dharma together to benefit beings\n\u6211\u4eec\u4e00\u8d77\u5f18\u6cd5\u5229\u751f\n\nDo something good for people\n\u9020\u798f\u65bc\u6c11\u53c8\u5982\u4f55\u5462 \n\nThe old monk nodded and said\n\u8001\u50e7\u70b9\u4e86\u70b9\u5934\u8bf4 \n\nThat's ok as well, so he followed Xuanzang's guidance\n\u8fd9\u6837\u4e5f\u597d \u5f53\u4e0b\u4fbf\u6309\u7167\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u7684\u6307\u70b9\n\nWent to the palace to be reincarnated as the prince\n\u53bb\u7687\u5bab\u6295\u80ce\u505a\u7687\u592a\u5b50\u53bb\u4e86 \n\nWaiting for the return of Master Xuanzang\n\u7b49\u5f85\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u7684\u5f52\u6765\n\nNineteen years later\n\u5341\u4e5d\u5e74\u4ee5\u540e \n\nMaster Xuanzang returned from India \n\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u4ece\u5929\u7afa\u53d6\u7ecf\u5f52\u6765 \n\nHe does not forget the previous appointment\n\u4ed6\u4e0d\u5fd8\u524d\u7ea6\n\nHe went to the emperor to ask for the reincarnated prince\n\u5c31\u5230\u4e86\u7687\u5e1d\u90a3\u91cc\u53bb\u5bfb\u627e\u8f6c\u4e16\u7684\u8001\u50e7 \n\nThe emperor at that time was Tang Taizong\n\u5f53\u65f6\u7684\u7687\u5e1d\u662f\u5510\u592a\u5b97\n\nHe was surprised and said to Xuanzang\n\u4ed6\u5f88\u60ca\u8bb6 \u5bf9\u7384\u5958\u6cd5\u5e08\u8bf4 \n\nI don't have a 19-year-old crown prince\n\u6211\u6ca1\u6709\u5341\u4e5d\u5c81\u7684\u7687\u592a\u5b50\u5440 \u540e\u6765\u4e00\u67e5\n\nThe old monk was reborn in the wrong place\n\u8001\u50e7\u6295\u80ce\u6295\u9519\u4e86\u5730\u65b9\n\nTo the house of Yuchi Gong, the minister of the court\n\u6295\u5230\u4e86\u5f53\u671d\u5927\u81e3\u5c09\u9072\u606d\u7684\u5bb6\u4e2d\n\nSo they went around and called the young man\n\u4e8e\u662f\u5c31\u4f20\u8a54\u4e0b\u53bb \u5c06\u90a3\u4e2a\u9752\u5e74\u5ba3\u6765 \n\nMake him go with Master Xuanzang as a monk\n\u4ee4\u5176\u968f\u7384\u5958\u6cd5\u5e08\u51fa\u5bb6\n\nBecause of the reincarnation, the old monk was confused\n\u56e0\u4e3a\u8001\u50e7\u56e0\u6295\u80ce \n\nDue to the memory loss due to rebirth\n\u9694\u9670\u4e4b\u8c1c \n\nIn his previous life, he was a great practitioner\n\u524d\u4e16\u867d\u7136\u662f\u5927\u4fee\u884c\u4eba\n\nBut couldn't remember the previous life any more\n\u4f46\u662f\u524d\u4e16\u7684\u4e8b\u60c5\u54ea\u91cc\u8fd8\u8bb0\u5f97\u5462 \n\nHe is used to the life of being rich and powerful\n\u4ed6\u5df2\u7ecf\u4e60\u60ef\u4e86 \u7d19\u9189\u91d1\u8ff7\u7684\u751f\u6d3b\n\nHe doesn't want to be a monk no matter what\n\u575a\u51b3\u4e0d\u540c\u610f\u51fa\u5bb6 \u4e0d\u51fa\u5bb6\u5c31\u8d50\u6b7b \n\nFinally the emperor will let him die if he won't go\n\u90a3\u9752\u5e74\u6ca1\u6709\u529e\u6cd5\u4e86\n\nSo he agreed on one condition that\n\u53ea\u597d\u540c\u610f\u4e86 \u4f46\u63d0\u51fa\u4e86\u4e2a\u6761\u4ef6\n\nHe needs to take three wagons with him, one with gold\n\u5fc5\u987b\u968f\u884c\u4e09\u4e2a\u9a6c\u8f66 \u4e00\u8f66\u8f09\u91d1\u9280\u5143\u5bf6\n\nOne with wine, the other with beautiful women\n\u4e00\u8f66\u8f09\u9152 \u53e6\u5916\u4e00\u8f66\u8f7d\u7740\u7f8e\u5973\n\ntotal three wagons\n\u8fd9\u4e9b\u4e1c\u897f\u62c9\u4e86\u4e09\u5927\u8f66\n\nThis is who became very famous Monk\n\u8fd9\u4e2a \u4e5f\u5c31\u662f\u540e\u6765\u975e\u5e38\u6709\u540d\u7684\n\nWith the nick name of Three Wagon Monk\n\u79f0\u4ed6\u4e3a\u4e09\u8f66\u548c\u5c1a \n\nMaster Xuanzang knew very well\n\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u5fc3\u91cc\u975e\u5e38\u6709\u6570\n\nNod and acquiesce\n\u70b9\u5934\u9ed8\u8bb8\u4e86 \u5f53\u65f6\u8f66\u961f\n\nTo the temple where the ordination is performed\n\u884c\u81f3\u8a2d\u58c7\u5243\u5ea6\u7684\u5bfa\u9662\n\nA loud bell rang\n\u4e00\u58f0\u6d2a\u4eae\u7684\u949f\u58f0\u4f20\u6765 \n\nThe old monk's Alaya memory awaken,\n\u66ae\u7136\u60ca\u9192\u7684\u8001\u50e7 \u963f\u8cf4\u8036\u8b58\u4e2d\n\nAfter all, he practiced hard\n\u6c89\u7761\u7684\u8bb0\u5fc6 \u4ed6\u6bd5\u7adf\u523b\u82e6\u4fee\u70bc \n\nThe Buddha's mind remains intact\n\u591a\u751f\u591a\u4e16 \u4f5b\u5fc3\u672a\u6cef\u554a\n\nThe spirit is like the morning bell and the evening drum triggered\n\u6668\u9418\u66ae\u9f13\u7684\u7075\u6027\u4e00\u89f8\u5373\u53d1\u4e86 \n\nHe woke in one sudden knock\n\u4ed6\u5e61\u7136\u9192\u609f\n\nI don't want the three wagon stuff\n\u4e09\u8f66\u90fd\u4e0d\u8981\u4e86 \n\nHe immediately got off his horse and wept bitterly\n\u5f53\u5373\u7ffb\u8eab\u843d\u9a6c \u75db\u54ed\u6d41\u6cea\n\nRepent from then on,  return to the Buddhist practice even harder\n\u5fcf\u6094 \u4ece\u6b64\u6f5c\u5fc3\u91cd\u5f52\u4f5b\u95e8 \u53d1\u594b\u4fee\u884c \n\nBecome Master Xuanzang's great disciple\n\u6210\u4e3a\u7384\u5958\u5927\u5e08\u5750\u4e0b\u7684\u5927\u5f1f\u5b50\n\nHe became a later generation of eminent monks\n\u6cd5\u53f7\u7aba\u57fa \u4ed6\u5c31\u662f\u540e\u6765\u7684\u4e00\u4ee3\u9ad8\u50e7 \n\nMaster Ku\u012bj\u012b became the second generation lineage holder of consciousness only school\n\u7aba\u57fa\u5927\u5e08 \u6210\u4e3a\u6cd5\u76f8\u5b97\u7b2c\u4e8c\u4ee3\u4f20\u4eba\n\nWe also know from this story\n\u901a\u8fc7\u8fd9\u4e2a\u6545\u4e8b \u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u77e5\u9053 \n\nEven the old monk practiced in advanced level\n\u5373\u4f7f\u8001\u50e7\u4fee\u884c\u529f\u592b\u8fd9\u4e48\u9ad8\n\nHE lived in the snow mountain for a thousand years in meditation\n\u5343\u5e74\u53ef\u4ee5\u5165\u5b9a\u4e0d\u6b7b \n\nBut he's still in the six paths rebirth\n\u4f46\u662f\u5462 \u4ed6\u8fd8\u5728\u516d\u9053\u8f6e\u56de \n\nHe can go and reborn as a royal prince\n\u4ed6\u53ef\u4ee5\u518d\u6295\u80ce \u8f6c\u4e3a\u7687\u592a\u5b50 \n\nHe can foretell his future life\n\u4ed6\u53ef\u4ee5\u77e5\u9053\u4ed6\u7684\u540e\u6765\u662f\u600e\u6837\u7684 \n\nBut if he doesn't vow to be transborn to the west bliss\n\u53ea\u8981\u4ed6\u4e0d\u53d1\u613f\u6c42\u751f\u897f\u65b9\n\nHe will never live in the West Paradise\n\u4ed6\u5f80\u751f\u4e0d\u4e86\u897f\u65b9\u6975\u6a02\u4e16\u754c \n\nWe don't have such good deep meditation\n\u6211\u4eec\u6ca1\u6709\u8fd9\u4e48\u597d\u7684\u5b9a\u529f \n\nWe can't live for thousands of years\n\u6211\u4eec\u4e5f\u4e0d\u53ef\u80fd\u5343\u5e74\u4e0d\u6b7b\n\nBut we can hold onto the name of Amituofo \n\u4f46\u6211\u4eec\u8fd9\u4e00\u4e16\u628a\u63e1\u4f4f\u8fd9\u4e00\u53e5\u4f5b\u865f \n\nHold it and we can succeed  in this life\n\u628a\u63e1\u4f4f \u6211\u4eec\u5c31\u53ef\u4ee5 \u4eca\u751f\u5c31\u53ef\u4ee5\u6210\u5c31\n\nTurn into an eternity body  and life that never dies\n\u53d8\u6210\u4e00\u4e2a\u65e0\u91cf\u58fd\u7684\u8eab\u4f53 through a lot for this day\n\u6211\u4eec\u4fee\u4e86\u7d2f\u751f\u7d2f\u52ab \u5c31\u662f\u76fc\u671b\u7740\u8fd9\u4e00\u5929\n\nWe can become Buddha\n\u80fd\u8ba9\u6211\u4eec\n\nChanting Buddha name becomes Buddha\n\u5ff5\u4f5b\u6210\u4f5b \n\nTo the western paradise\n\u5f80\u751f\u897f\u65b9\u6975\u6a02\u4e16\u754c\n\nI hope everyone can realize our
