这是一位莲友分享的
It tells of a tragic ''killing'' karma on the father of this fellow pratitioner
自己的父亲杀生的悲惨果报
It is a very frightening and an alarming story that she has shared with us
听了以后啊 真的是让人触目惊心
The story revealed the grave retribution of ''killing'' and warned us not to commit
发人深省 不敢再造杀生的业了
Hope that we can all abstain from killing, protect life and be vegetarian
希望大家都能戒杀 吃素
Voice recorded begins : Let me tell you my father's story, my father's karma story
我讲一下我父亲的事情吧 父亲的因果吧
Why do I practise Buddhism? The reason started from the days when my father died
我为什么信佛 就是因为我父亲过世
I have been a witness to my own father's departure from this world
我亲眼看到我父亲是怎么离世的
That is why we have to believe in karma, because it is the truth
所以大家真的是一定要相信因果
My father killed a lot of dogs in his life, countless dogs
我爸生前打死过很多隻狗 非常非常多 不计其数
He also stole other families' dogs and drugged them...
还偷过人家的狗 还打人家的狗 下过人家的药
He has done a lot of very bad things
做了很多很多的坏事
He stole other people's fish
偷过别人的鱼 打人家的鱼
He stole other people's turtles and sold them at the market
打人家的那个乌龟 拿去卖
He also stole the chickens, and all the other bad things he did
偷别人的鸡 做过很多的事情
Having done all those evil things, what has he finally "get retribution" in his karma?
他的果报是什么
The karma he received was: His own family was decimated
他的果报是家破人亡
He was fifty-three years old in August of last year
五十三岁 去年八月份
Do you have any idea how he died?
您知道他怎么过世的吗？
He died because he was bitten by a dog and infected with rabies
被狗咬了 狂犬病过世
Because there was no medicine for him
因为没有药
Because we had no money, and he was infected with rabies
因为没有钱 然后狂犬病
I saw him tortured alive until his last breath
我看他活生生地被折磨死的
You wouldn't be able to imagine how the shocking image that had an impact on me
当时对我震撼特别大 您知道吗？
No one could ever save him and I watched helplessly as he died
没有一个人能够救他 我就眼睁睁地看着他死的
No one dared to go near him. He was so itchy and scratched all over his body
所有人都不敢靠近他 浑身抓 就是痒嘛
Hospitals were afraid to accept him
医院也不敢接收他
At that moment I hadn't yet learned about Buddhism
然后 当时因为我当时是没有学佛
I don't know what Karma is. I know some doctors
我不懂因果 但是我有认识一些医生
I said to doctor :
我就跟医生说 我说医生
I said that I didn't know what to do it
我说我不知道怎么办
I said I'd buy ...
我说要不然我买
That I would rather pay for euthanasia or buy some pesticides to help my father die
我去买安乐死或者买农药毒死我爸爸吧
To make his death a little less painful. But the doctor told me
死得就会好受一点 后来医生就跟我说
that there was nothing that I could do to help him
他说你没有办法的
No one was able to stop him from dying in such a painful way
他只能这样子死去
All you could do was watching him suffer, but there was nothing you could do to help him
你只能眼睁睁地看他
Euthanasia is not allowed in mainland China
安乐死在国内是不能用的
Even you tried to give him some pesticides
农药的话 他说 你如果用了的话
The doctor said my father couldn't swallow anything
他说 他根本就吞不下去
My father was not even able to have a sip of water or a grain of rice
我父亲是水喝不了 饭吃不进一粒
Besides, no one could get close to him
然后不能靠近他
Every few minutes my father made dog noises
隔几分钟就会发出那种狗的声音
And then he barked like a dog
然后（像狗）那种叫出来
Fear of wind and fear of light
不能吹风 不能见光
He suffered and was tortured until the very last breath of his life
就是这样子折磨而死的
Nobody dared to approach him
所有人都不敢靠近他
Not only that, I really lived and went through the whole story myself
这也就算了 我真的见证到了
I have seen and I understand that a human being can also fall into the animal realm alive
什么叫做活着的时候 在畜生道里面
Later on, the committee from the village came and I begged them not to do it
结果村委会的人 我求他们 我说不要这样子做
The committee was afraid that my father would go around biting or hurting the villagers
他们怕父亲会出来伤人嘛
All the villagers were so worried and they were afraid that my father would scratch them
他会抓伤别人嘛 村民都怕嘛
They made a big iron cage for my father
就做了一个大铁笼子 把我爸爸
With the help of the police
然后又请了那种 就是派出所的那种什么警察
Or some people seemed to be from the SWAT team
就是那种特警队
They put my father in the iron cage
把我爸爸赶到那个笼子里面去
Everybody was so scared, the scene was exactly like an animal in its animal realm
所有人都不敢 真的是畜生道
And they locked my father in the cage with a chain
然后用那种链子 关在那个笼子里面
I watched it all happen, I got down on my knees and kept telling my father
我就这么看着他 我跪在外面 一直跟他说
I said: Dad, please don't eat the dog anymore, don't do it anymore
我说你以后不要再吃狗了 不要这个样子
I just kept talking and talking
我就一直说话 一直说话
I talked to my father until he took his last breath
他就这样子 在我说的这个话里面 断气了
My father died at three o'clock in the morning
断气了 半夜三点钟断气的
When he died, then at six o'clock in the morning
六点钟 因为断气了之后
I had to inform the relevant government officials immediately
我要马上通知政府的人嘛
I'm not a local village resident
我不是本地的
I was raised by my aunt, I grew up in her house
我是从小 就是被寄养在我姑姑家的
I know nothing about the rural affairs in the village
农村里面的事情我根本不懂
I quickly informed the mayor
然后我通知 临时通知村长
The funeral car was due to arrive soon, and they took the body away
马上要殡仪馆的过来 马上要送走
The funeral home was informed , around six o 'clock
通知是殡仪馆的 殡仪馆的 六点多
Once they were notified, the funeral car would come as soon as possible
一听到就马上就过来接了
You couldn't know what I saw my own father look like when he was dying
你知道我看到我爸爸怎么死的
His eyes were not closed, they were all wide open
眼睛都没有闭上 眼睛是睁开的
His teeth were like those of a dead dog - mouth open, teeth exposed to the outside
牙齿都是那种狗死的那种 嗯着个牙齿的
I saw them all with my own eyes
我就这样子亲眼看到他
I delivered him to the crematorium
我把他送进去 送到那个火葬场里面
He was dying right in front of my own eyes
我亲眼见到他是怎么死的
There was not a single part of his body that was intact
身上面的没有一块肉是是完整的
When I talke about it, my hands are shaking
我讲这个我手都在发抖
I didn't know what to do, all I knew was to keep on talking and talking and talking
我都不知道怎么办 我就一直说 我说
I just kept talking to him
我就只能够跟他说
I just kept talking to him about not doing the same things any more
我说你以后再也不能这样子做了
So please do believe : Karma is real
所以大家一定要相信因果
Afterwards, I have a deep belief in karma, a deep belief in cause and effect
从那次之后 我就非常非常的相信因果了
I am very careful with my behavior. I take Buddhism seriously and study it diligently
我不敢造作了 我认认真真的学佛
I recite "Ksitigarbha Sutra" daily
我每一天念《地藏经》
I dedicate to my father all the merit and virtues from reciting the "Ksitigarbha Sutra"
我一定是回向给我的父亲的
The way in which he died was too tragic and too cruel
他走得太惨了
I had a dream about him at night
而且我晚上做梦都没有
In my dream, he only had the upper part of his body, without the lower part
我梦到他都是上半身 没有下半身的
To be honest, I don't really want to remember it
我在这里我其实我一点都不想
Unwilling to tell my own father's story
说我父亲的事情的
But I know : A public confession of his bad deeds will free him from suffering and sin
但是因为可以消亡人的业障
I hope you can listen to this story
我一听我也是 希望是说大家听到这个
My father's karmic story of retribution of 'killing'
我父亲因果的故事
I could also remove some of his retribution by telling his history in public
也可以替他消一点業障
So I really hope that my father's story
所以我真的是希望我父亲的这个事情啊
Teach all of us an alarming lesson
给大家一个警醒了
Believe in karma, believe that 'cause creates effect', I am afraid to eat meat now
一定要相信因果 我现在也不敢吃肉了
I'm in fear, I'm really scared
我真的害怕呀 我真的害怕
My fellow practitioners in the group often see me practising Buddhism very diligently
为什么大家说我在群里面这么精进啊
It is all because I have seen all the scenes of how to leave my father
我看到了呀 我看到我爸爸是怎么走的呀
A living human being can simply cease to exist in two or three days
一个活生生的人三天不到 两天
I saw my father despised by others
然后我看到我爸爸是怎么样被别人嫌弃
They put him in a cage and he was on his knees, He died on his knees until the end
关到笼子里面 然后就这样子跪着 半跪着走的
Eyes were wide open and the mouth could not be closed
眼睛都没有合上呀 嘴巴都没有合上的
I do not try to frighten you with my story
今天分享这个故事 并不是来吓唬大家
I often received many messages from other practitioners
因为末学经常会收到很多莲友给我的来信
In the messages, they shared their family stories
也讲述了自己的家人
As the severe retribution of killing will cause suicide, illness and so on
因为杀生而造成的自杀身亡、生病等等
There are many stories about karma, about the payback of cause and effect
很多的因果报应的故事
It is not that there will be no retribution, it is that the time is not ripe
真的不是不报，是时候不到
Especially nowadays, people don't believe in Dharma, they don't take karma seriously
尤其是现在人不相信佛法 不相信因果报应
Although people don't believe in reincarnation, but retribution comes when it comes
不相信有来世 因果现前的时候
No one is well-prepared enough to face the heavy consequence when it comes
真的是很严重 是不得了的
It is not a joke
这个可不是开玩笑的
So these people have no understanding of karma
所以这些不懂因果报应
People don't learn Buddhist education, which is so pathetic
不学佛的人真的是太可怜了
In the ignorance of the law of causality
因为不了解事实的真相
It will be too late, too sad, too bloody when karmic retribution knocks at the door
果报现前的时候 真的是太可怜太惨了
I think that most of my fellow practitioners are already vegetarians
我想 我们很多的莲友都已经吃素了
I used to think that the meat was very tasty when I was still an omnivore
以前没有吃素的时候 觉着这些都是美味
I had a restaurant for ten years, a lot of animals were killed for their meat
尤其是末学 开餐馆十年 杀生无数
Eating the meat in order to satisfy my greed for the tasty food
为了满足自己的口腹之欲
Eating live fish, crabs and shrimps for the better taste without regard to their suffering
吃鱼 、螃蟹、 虾 基本上都是吃的活的
All that is truly made is karma to hell
真的造的都是下地狱的业
I am already very scared at the thought of this karma, That is why today
想想太可怕了 所以末学在这里呢
For all the sentient beings that I have eaten, that I have killed and that I have harmed
也为我曾经所吃、所杀、 所伤害的一切有情众生
I just want to say I am so sorry, I apologise for all the mistakes that I have made
说一声 对不起 我错了
From now on, I abstain from taking the life of living creatures and become a vegetarian
从今以后戒杀 吃素
will chant the sutras, and chant Amitabha for transcendence
为你们诵经 念佛 超度
My hope is that all beings can hear and learn the Dharma
希望每一个众生都可以得闻佛法
Hope that the name" Namo Amitabha " can be spread everywhere and heard by all
听到这一声南无阿弥陀佛
could escape evil paths, cease suffering and gain pain soon.
从此脱离恶道 早日离苦得乐
Transbirth in Sukhavati soon -- The Western Pureland of Ultimate Bliss
早生西方极乐世界
In the past, I had a wrong understanding of enjoyment
真的那个时候不懂 都认为那个是在享福
How could we miss the joy of tasty food? It means the good fortune to eat tasty food
为什么有这个口福不吃呢
I used to think that the vegetarians were superstitious
老觉着吃素的人都是迷信
When I saw the vegetarians eating
看到他们吃素
I have always said that the vegetarians are missing out on the enjoyment of life
总是爱说有福不知道享
Until the day that I begin to learn Buddhism, to learn the Dharma, I understand :
我们今天学佛了才真正的知道
As the saying goes : "Disease enters by the mouth", the "mouth karma" created while eating
病从口入 这不都是口业吗 ？
In short, the karma of hell is being sown
总而言之 叫做地狱的业
Even if you've finished the punishment of Hell, you'll still need to keep paying the debt
地狱罪满了之后 还要还债
It is explained very well in the Shurangama Sutra
《楞严经》上说得很好
"As much as you eat of its flesh, you should give back to it the same amount"
" 吃他半斤 将来你要还他八两 "
No one could escape the law of causality, now you focus on enjoying the food
没有人可以逃得过 现在吃的时候是口福
But what if the day comes when you must repay every bit of meat?
将来还债 那叫什么呢？
It's the 'cause and effect', It's karma. It's the true law of the universe, always
这叫因果报应 丝毫不爽
You take a man's life, yours will be taken; You take a man's money, the debt sticks to you
欠命的要还命 欠债的要还钱
Even after infinite kalpas, when coordinating cause and effect becomes mature
纵然到无量劫 因缘聚会的时候
The karma will be shown, the retribution of bad things will never be too late to receive
果报就现前了
The compassionate Buddha earnestly tells us
佛陀慈悲 苦口婆心为我们说明
The reality of the six paths of rebirths, we must pay back what we have caused to happen
六道轮回的状况 造业就要受报
We must be grateful, we must listen respectfully to the Buddha's teaching
我们要感恩 要恭恭敬敬地听
To fully accept and absorb the Dharma of the Buddha
要接受 通通地接受
Determinated to "cease evil, practice good"
真正要做到断恶修善
Not only stop doing the evil things, but also not allow the evil ideas to arise
不但这些恶不能再造 念头都不能造了
We close our palms in front of every being, we consider them to be bodhisattvas
见到一切众生都合掌称菩萨
We are grateful to all the beings who are in the six different paths of reincarnation
无论他在哪一道 我们都感恩
They show us the lesson of life in each of their own different ways
他们也都是在给我们表法
Show us the true fact of matters
把事实真相显现给我们看
Let's see through the truth behind the scenes
我们自己看清楚 看明白了
You definitely stop doing bad things and only do good things once you find out the truth
想通了 真正是断一切恶 修一切善
Always be ready to lend a helping hand to others who are in need
时时刻刻存着帮助别人的心
Keeping in mind to help all sentient beings to abandon suffering and attain happiness
帮助众生离苦得乐的这个念头
In accordance with the practice of Buddha
与佛道相应
I hope the video today
